Opening bumper for the SCAD Animation Spring Showcase 2019. Within nine weeks a team of ten created a short film highlighting Hong Kong the location of one of SCAD's study abroad programs.

Animation Tests
While still shaping the final story of the film we definitely wanted to have some creature whether it be a monkey, fish, or dragon running through the bustling streets of Hong Kong. I provided various quick animation tests exemplifying the different After Effects glow features since the film was going to be set at night.
Before deciding to use a 3D environment I made a test that demonstrated weaving 3D camera movement in After Effects.
Layout Design
Some creature exploration during per-production. The creatures we were bouncing around were either Mythical like the Chinese lion or dragon transforming into a real animal like a monkey, fish, cat, or something that can be found in Hong Kong.
