Swollen enemies
A cinematic universe was created from a small joke from a past collaboration. This is my 2D Production film about a cat named SwolCat and a dog named BuffRuff arm wrestling.

Character Design
SwolCat was a previous character from a joke short film I made with friends. Making a formal character model was funny. BuffRuff was completely new and I have my roommate to thank for hilarious creating his name. Even though I made character models for both SwolCat and BuffRuff a lot of the animation I did was loosely based on the model sheet to keep their goofy and cartoony antics alive.
Background Design
I wanted to give “Swollen Enemies” a “Peanuts” and “SpongeBob SquarePants” feel by having detailed close-ups of their muscly arms and quickly painted backgrounds.
